Paige's 2nd Birthday

I must admit that I took a step back in my decorating journey on this cake.  I was 9.5 months pregnant and completely out of energy.  So, while I had a great theme to work with (Minnie Mouse) I simply was not able to complete the wow factor that I love my cakes to have.  I wanted to do a pink cake with white dots.  Unfortunately, the pink turned out to be too light (pink lemonade) and the white dots didn't pop like I would have liked.  It was nice to see that my piping skills continue to improve as the circles were all actually circle and pretty much the same size.  Paige loved it, but I'm thinking I'll have to step up my game next year for her.
